Part of TheScience.fm

Bologna.science is one of the hubs of the TheScience.fm Platform, which joins places where science is done into routes. Bologna lies on the Concept Cities route – see City & Region. The editorial team is introduced on TheScience.fm. The site is published by StratCom.Media.

Corrections

Every statement on this site is summarised from the documents named in the sources at the foot of the page, and each section points to the sources it relies on. If you find a discrepancy, tell us which page and which section, and give the source you are comparing against.

Editorial standards

We explain official documents in our own words and link to them; we do not republish them. We do not publish figures or claims without a source a reader can check, and facts that still need checking are marked in square brackets. Where we translate titles ourselves, we say so.

We use artificial intelligence tools to help find sources, prepare drafts and check texts, and we do so ethically and openly. We work with several independent tools and cross-check their results against one another, and every figure and quotation is verified against its source. Nothing is published without the approval of the editorial team, which takes responsibility for every text on the site.

Institutions and event organisers

If you work at a university, a ministry, a quality assurance agency, a recognition centre, a research institute, a museum or an event mentioned here and want to correct or update a description, write to us at the address above.

Working together

We are glad to hear from universities, international offices, student organisations, research institutes and anyone who welcomes students and science travellers in Bologna, whether about a joint piece, an event or a media partnership.

The site can also carry advertising or sponsored material that fits its subject. It is always clearly labelled, and partner links are marked as sponsored. Sponsorship does not change how we describe the Bologna tools, institutions or places: the editorial standards above apply to everything we publish. If that sounds of interest, write to us with “Bologna.science” in the subject line.
